Philip Neves
Philip Neves, plastic artist with academic and minimalist influences, creates on various platforms and techniques: ”Drawing (graphite, ink, watercolor, pastel), painting (oil, acrylic) and sculpture (clay, plaster, resin, bronze and aluminum)”. He sees what surrounds him as a matte backdrop sliding under his gaze as if nothing has details. Simple geometric shapes are attached to his works, which lead him to the taste of minimalism. The part of the figurative work expresses the feelings of the human being in everyday life “intolerance in all cases” (busy life, oppression, cultural feelings). Philip Neves has works in Portugal and Brazil.
